Finally, a recipe for legit ice cream! I haven’t made any, really, all summer and summer is almost gone. Forever. Until next year. Not that I’m that sad, but I did miss a LOT of chances to make ice cream. But not this chance!
Sara over at Sprouted Kitchen has a pretty sweet deal with her husband; he takes the photos, she makes the food. And what food! What pictures! They truly are some of the most beautiful and simply elegant food photos out there.
The recipes, also, are mostly straightfoward but they pack a punch. The only change I made to this one wasto use regular straight-up sugar instead of evaporated cane juice. Feel free to do it either way!
