Iced Caramel Breve

Iced Caramel Breve (39)

Do you have any idea how many ways there are to make coffee? Wikipedia has a whole page dedicated to a List of Coffee Beverages. I go for a simple mocha any day of the week, but there are so many possibilities! I found this site neat and informative.

This is a twist on the classic breve, which is traditionally a shot of espresso with steamed half and half. It’s far too hot to be steaming anything, so I opted for cold-brewed coffee and cold half and half. Oh, and I added caramel. Homemade caramel sauce. Absolutely delicious. I advise making this drink in small shotglasses, but of course I leave that decision to your good judgement.

One thing about trying to take gif-able photos by yourself: your depth perception is in danger. Trying to balance the camera in one hand and pour the caramel with the other was maybe not such a good idea, but I actually like the way it turned out.

  1. Sounds absolutely delicious! I love coffee and this looks like a great way to get in my caffeine fix during the warmer days!

Do you think that almond milk would work okay instead of half and half?
