It’s the season for everything pumpkin, as everyone knows. But also chai. I’ve done my research to provide you with a foolproof chai spice mix to use in your next latte. I’ve never been a huge fan of tea, but throw some milk and honey in there and I’m on board.
These are your basics. Play around with them, figure out which tastes you like best.
Then add it to some black tea leaves and drip-brew it for a superior (and really pretentious) latte experience. Brought to you by your local gif-obsessor.
Spicy Chai Mix and a Latte
For the Spice Mix:
2 t. cardamom
1 t. ground cloves
1 t. cinnamon
½ t. nutmeg
½ t. anise powder or fennel seed powder
1 t. grated fresh ginger or 1 ½ t. ground ginger
¼ t. black pepper
For the Latte: stir together:
3 bags basic black tea, brewed according to your preferred method
¼ c. milk of choice [40 for raw milk]
1 T. honey 
1 t. vanilla
drumroll: 100 calories!
